Stories connect generations. They remind us where we came from, what others sacrificed for us, and why hope should never be forgotten.
As time passes, memories naturally fade. That is one of the reasons I felt compelled to write An American Odyssey. I wanted to preserve my family’s experiences so future generations could understand not only what happened but also the courage, love, and resilience that carried us forward.
Remembering the past is not about living there. It is about learning from it, honoring those who came before us, and finding strength for the future.
Every family has a story worth telling. Every life has moments worth remembering. I hope this memoir encourages readers to celebrate their own history, treasure the people who shaped their lives, and recognize that even the smallest acts of courage can leave a lasting legacy.
So lovely
Thank you very much
